Profile

Geoff Eagleson is an Emeritus Professor of Management at the Australian School of Business in the University of New South Wales.

Geoff teaches strategy implementation in the School of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. His research interests include the development of an integrative strategy framework, the interaction of managerial cognition with the use of strategic measurement systems and the effect of leadership behaviour on the successful implementation of change.

Geoff was an Evaluator for the Australian Quality Awards in 1993 and 1994 and has extensive experience advising and helping organisations in three ways:

Geoff has a PhD in Mathematical Statistics and has taught at the universities of Sydney and Cambridge.  He was Assistant Chief of the Division of Mathematics and Statistics at CSIRO before joining the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), where he has been the Director of the Open Learning Program in 1990, Director of the MBA, 1990-92, and Associate Dean, 1994-95.  He has won the AGSM Teaching Award twice, in 1994 and 2001.
